Davido’s first hit track was “Dami Duro” a single from his 2012 debut studio album, Omo Baba Olowo. Davido is married to 29 years old Chioma Avril Rowland who is from Owerri in Imo State, Nigeria. Chioma has a a degree in Economics from Babcock University, where she met Davido. In 2018, Davido released a hit song titled “Assurance,” which he dedicated to his now wife Chioma. The video of the song also featured Chioma. In 2019, Davido and Chioma got engaged and on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 the couple wedded at the Harbour Point Event Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria.

Davido has five children two of whom are boys and the other three girls. Among the children are twins a boy and a girl. It could be recall that in October 2023, the star confirmed the arrival of the twins. Davido had a son called Ifeanyi Adeleke, who died after drowning in a swimming pool at the family’s Banana Island residence on November 1, 2022. Ifeanyi celebrated his 3 years old birthday just few weeks before his death.
